- Description
- An award-winning Healthcare Communications agency with offices in London and the South East is currently looking for a Scientific Lead to assist with the ongoing expansion of the agency. You will lead and manage the medical writing team in the delivery of a range of high-quality medical communication materials, including slide kits, meeting reports, websites and apps.
Some of your duties will include
· Providing strategic direction to team members and other colleagues
· Ensuring maintenance of high editorial standards through review of other writers’ work
· Training and developing associate medical writers and conducting performance reviews and appraisals
· Identifying opportunities for new business within existing accounts
They are looking for a dynamic individual who has the necessary skills to lead a team of writers from both an editorial and a strategic perspective so previous experience of managing and leadership is required. They are keen to meet with current Scientific leads or Senior/Principal Writers looking to take a step up in their career
The successful candidate must hold a Life Science BSc as a minimum coupled with at least 4 years’ experience as a Senior / Principal Medical Writer.
